Pretty nice tutorial. I had a problem with Step 2: Film Grain. That is not anything like the result I achieved using the Film Grain filter. I got huge chunks of solid white. The only way I was able to get close was by using Add Noise set to uniform/monochromatic. It has helped out a lot. Thanks for posting this tip.

Thanks for this, it helped me to add some realism to some 3D models I make which are all furry
